Reeder for iPad
Reeder is an iPad App for those who use Google’s free RSS reader. Reeder syncs with Google Reader and allows you to import the look and feel of Google’s web reader on your iPad. You are able to browse by feed and folders just like Google’s Reader. Reeder for iPad also imports many of the Google Reader’s features such as starred items, notes, shared items and has a slider control for list entries.
In addition to mimicking the most useful features of Google Reader, Reeder allows you to interface with other iPad services and apps. For example, if you are running short on time, you can send an article in Reeder to a program such as ReadItLater or Instapaper for offline reading. Social media fans can post articles they like to Twitter and Facebook, or email articles using the in-app protocols.
Reeder gets high marks from us for usability. The main interfaces use a circle to mark unread items, a star to mark as favorite, and three horizontal lines to represent all items. Manipulating any of the three main buttons with the normal iPad gestures allows for quick and easy browsing.
