Official video of “A Celebration of Steve’s Life” memorial at Apple Campus

On October 19, 2011, Apple held a memorial for their founding CEO, Steve Jobs, to mourn his passing and also to celebrate his life. This was a very special event was that was  filmed live at the Apple campus in Cupertino, California. Tim Cook,  Apple’s newest CEO stated that they shut down all the Apple stores worldwide and every employee was watching it live from their Apple store. The video is about 80 minutes long and features speeches from several executives and board members from Apple including former Vice President Al Gore and Jonathan Ive (Senior Vice President of Design for Apple). It also featured musical performances by Norah Jones and Coldplay. Steve Job’s wife, Laurene, also attended the event.
