Gaming on the iOS: Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars HD

This is one of those classic game series that has existed since the old Sony Playstation console systems. I remember the days when I played Grand Theft Auto 1 & 2 which was two-dimensional. This game series has evolved quite a lot since then.
Today I would like to talk about Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars HD by Rock Star Games which needs little explaining on how much of a great experience the game is especially on the iOS on the iPhone, iPod Touch, and the iPad. It is also availale for Nintendo DS and PSP System.
The main difference between the iOS version is the music. The custom radio station in the game has more music and stations; it also uses your iPod library.
This game features more than 50 missions and like all GTA games, it has tons of side activities. The game has a very open environment. You can do almost anything with this game from fist fighting, shooting guns, stealing cars, driving, and evading the authorities. The basic setting of the game is in Liberty City where you are the son of a murdered gang boss named Huang Lee. Your escorts get killed by assassins and your body is dumped in the water presumed dead. But you are alive and your journey begins. I won’t spoil the rest of it for you as you progress through the game. You will watch various scenes of the story with subtitles throughout the game.
Playing on the iOS is much different than other consoles where the controls are multi-touch. GTA: Chinatown Wars controls has an onscreen joystick allowing you to punch, kick, and jump. When driving, there are steering, acceleration, and braking buttons. The only difference between the iPad and iPhone games is the iPad features high definition graphics to match its 1024 by 768 pixel HD display; there obviously there is much more real-estate to look at than the smaller iPhone diplay. The game dynamics are the same and story for both systems and the view is from a birds eye view top-down perspective than ground-view GTA style.
Here is a video of the game being played from touchArcade.com:
Note: This game is an R-rated game which contains violence. Apple requires buyers to be at least 17 years old.
